These are a few of my favorite things (*3)

3rd post relating to things I love.  I caved real early this year and started listening to Christmas carols this past week (I know, but I needed something to make me smile and get me thru the essays).

What is it about Bing Crosby Christmas classics that just makes you want to sit by the fireplace (or in a room full of lit candles if you don't have a fireplace), sip a hot cocoa, under a cozy blanket and read a good book? The new Christmas music just doesn't have that affect...I am such a little old lady, haha!  Oh well, I will continue to write my essays to Bing Crosby's the "Holly and the Ivy".

Reality hits

Today it finally hit me.  Looking at my agenda seeing only three weeks left til the end of November.  Can someone please show me where the semester went?!?!?!  I can't believe that in 3 weeks I will be saying "I only have one semester left of University!"

This semester comes to an end exams and all at the end of November.  Two essays due next week and three exams the week after.  OHH BOY! Most of my time will be spent in the library/infront of the mac and on my knees (praying for mercy and that He would refresh me-so that my inspite of all the work my brain would still feel refreshed).

So, hold on this ride is about to get a little bumpy!

While packing...

this morning I was laying things out on my bed that I planned to take with me to Toronto.  I grabbed a few necklaces and bracelets and my necklaces made me giggle.

Anyone seeing a trend here?

Before I die...

Everyone has one of those checklist's as to things they would LOVE to do before they die.  Even if it's not written, it's usually a mental checklist.  I decided to write mine down, as I feel if they are written, I am reminded of them, thus my chances of actually doing them would be more likely! So here they are in no particular order:

1.  Be Sanctified
2.  Be a Godly daughter, sister, friend and when the time comes wife and mother
3.  Be able to carry out conversation in French and Mandarin and be able to share the gospel in those languages
4.  Learn to read the Bible in it's original Hebrew and Greek
5.  Go to East Asia
6.  Go to Russia
7.  Go back to Italy (start a partnership with them to see them reached with the Gospel)
8.  Write a book
9.  Learn to play guitar
10.  Write a worship song
11.  Adopt
12.  Live with purpose

I am sure there are more, but those are some that are floating around my head and wanted to pin them down.
